Now we're living with our sister but I just can't come to terms with this being my new home, I appreciate what she's done for us but I have less than a year until I'm 18 and reality is really hitting me in the face.

My family got together to determine the next move for me and my younger brother since we're still in high school.

One time she almost died but the pacemaker brought her back.

I lost my bed and lost of furniture, I haven't had my own bed since I was about 13. After that ended my grandmothers health began to decline, her kidneys failed and she had to go through surgeries to get a pacemaker implanted.

That did a toll on my sleep habits since I was scared to sleep due to being afraid of the bugs.

When I was in 7th grade my household was stricken by a horrible case of bedbugs that didn't end until I was almost out of middle school.

I always grew up trying not to think about it because its not something I've wanted to talk about.

It wasn't until I got older that I learned she was schizophrenic and on hard drugs.

All I know is that I haven't seen my mom since I was about 10, she used to be in and out of my life but it stopped around that time.
