Sarah Stanners on 50 years of the McMichael Canadian Art Collection

The idea of this exhibit is to feature work from different artists in 50 year increments. 1916, the 1960s and present day. The gallery opens with wartime work from A.Y. Jackson and Tom Thompson, which offers a fresh take on the Group of Seven cannon. Sarah Stanners has been with the McMicheal for the last year and a half as its new Chief Curator.
